For all you *cough CRAP  * Glock afficianados out there , there's a recall on a type of holster for your weapons... It apparently is only for weapons with lasers on the rails of the newer models or ones with frame bolted lasers. It also is apparently only for Model 17 & Model 19 guns.

So is this a chide on Glocks, or the holster? My brother and I used to share a G23. IMO, it was one of the best guns I have ever shot, and is now my personal favorite handgun. Acouple of years ago, we sold it to a mutual friend who had the Glock prejudice, and he broke the recoil rod within ten seconds of being handed the gun. Of course he starts whining about the "cheap plastic" on Glocks, so I go buy him a stainless recoil pin. Now, this guy goes to take the whole upper assembly off of the frame and breaks the damn release spring for the slide. How TF do you do THAT? (if you've played with a Glock you know what I'm talking about here)

So again, our friend starts whining about the "cheapness", forgetting that he broke the gun TWICE in a way that everyone who saw the thing asked "how the F**K did you do THAT, you IDIOT?"

Finally we got the gun fixed again, and went out to the desert to test it. The new buyer could not hit a thing with his new purchase, and started to say that the new parts trashed the gun. So I grab it and start nailing bottles and what not while he just winced. (he's not a bad shot, just with this Glock)

Now, when my brother and I had the thing, we probably pumped 10,000 rounds through the thing and never had a problem. The new owner (said firend sold it to another in our circle) has had it for three years and has had no problems with it, and he never cleans it.
