Dear All,

I have met an American (Vietnam vet) who received the title Dae Han(Korea) Taekwon-Do Oh Do Kwan instructor. This is the Korean Oh Do Kwan of the 50's & 60's...real deal!

His certificate is signed by Hyun Jong Myon, President Dae Han Taekwon-Do Oh Do Kwan, Jung Ahn Ban Kwan, Seoul Korea. This is the man appointed to oversee the Oh Do Kwan (Korean Military Gym) by General Choi Hong Hi (founder of the Oh Do Kwan).

I am wondering if anyone knows how many non Koreans were certified as Oh Do Kwan instructors by "THE" Oh Do Kwan. Not the KTA, ITF, or Kukkiwon.

If you are aware of any non Korean certified by the Oh Do Kwan, please post here...also, if you have knowledge related to this matter (or input) again, I urge you to share with me!

TAEKWON!

Dear Forum,

I posted this here because I have noticed an increase in the number of ITF and/or other practitioners of Ch'ang Hon Taekwon-Do. Pratitioners of this art should better understand the importance of the above findings.

Those of you new to TKD (especially ITF or Ch'ang Hon Style), speak with your seniors regarding this. They may be similar to the gentleman I refered to in the above post!

Please help get this thread going as I have great interest in this subject!

Thanks to All,
