Why or why not?
I think he was awesome based on accounts from older kenshi who were thrown/pinned by him. They said he never seemed to use any effort at all. Tamura sensei once sparred with Kaiso and said he couldn't touch him.
I think it might be easy to think Kaiso was shitty the way the pictures look in the Kyohan. Maybe:
Kaiso took shittty pictures so if other martial artists got a hold of the kyohan, they couldn't use the pictures to learn.
