Relatively new organization founded by John Graden (formerly of NAPMA). The web site has some very nice free materials on it. Love him or hate him, John Graden has done more to make MA instruction a profession than any other man.

I start seeing people re-inventing the wheel with MA associations, to the point where I am skeptical about joining any of them. They need to target spicific types of schools: Small, large, small-trying-to-be-large.

Rick, this one is focused on helping MA become better teachers and businesspeople. Style doesn't enter into anything.

What do you think makes it a better value/quality than MATA? And please don't cross post. You have made two posts so far and both are advertisements for this site. I am now curious if you have any stake in this site other than having "discovered" it.

I don;t think so, I am pretty new to forums and I made a post and then saw another topic that was related having been a MATA member.

I notice you have MATA banners is that why you removed the other post?

what makes me think its better value:

Having used experienced both I am qualified to answer this.

The sites are the same price. The site is much higher quality, mata's does look a little home made considering its a professional martial arts association doesn't look that professional?, you get more resources and the members area is much easier to navigate. Its just different class, having used mata it was good value when you found something good in amongst everything else. But this is the best thing I have seen in terms of value and comparing other products having purchased napma packs in the past.

WHAT MATA banner? No banners on my website. The other post was removed because it WAS spam, just like the very same post you posted over at MartialTalk.

I removed it because we have a rule about cross-posting. Rather than have the same message cluttering up stuff all over, we have specific forums for announcements, merchandise, etc. This was in the rules you agreed to when you joined. We take them very seriously here and our members appreciate the lack of nonsense you find on many other boards. You are welcome hereas long as you respect the rules.

As for the spam concerns, your first posts all tout a commercial service for MA instructors. After examining the site and doing some preliminary background checking, we can't rule out that this isn't just another pretend marketing ploy that we've seen a hundred times before. We will continue to check further and if we find that you have an undisclosed interest in that service, you will be permanently banned from BudoSeek.

I was looking for actual facts not subjective comments that can't be verified. MATA has things available at no cost so you can see the types of things you'd be paying for before shelling out your money. Your site (and the web site you say you created) are very cookie-cutter with no real content. Another difference is that John Graden tells you right up front that MATA is his. Your site has no identified people at all. For all I know, this is some dumb teenager trying to make a buck off a scam. So far, I'm not impressed.

sorry are we confused its not my site, your assuming again!

I run a martial arts centre in birmingham in the UK.

If you had looked at the site properly you would see that their are lots of examples to show what you get once a member and you can take a FREE 3 day trial which is not offered by MATA!

Buy hey lets not get into an ego battle over who's right shall we?

All I intended was to share something good I had joined, often when you find something good you want to tell others about it, like a great movie!

No need to reply end of my posts in this topic.

Assuming nothing, trying to determine the truth. This would not be the first time someone has come on here with a "look at what I found" come-on for their own products. I find it interesting that neither site lists a single person by name. Rather poor marketing technique for a site that professes to be a resource for MA instructors.

Actually I did look but all I found was recycled materials that have been public domain for years. I expect to see something original before paying money. And just for the record, I am NOT a member of MATA either.

Ego has nothing to do with it. I asked for facts, you give nothing but unsubstantiated opinions.
