Wow! some of those guys make some heafty coin, however the "green" guys pretty well get a night at the casino for there troubles. I think Menjivar should have made more considering who he fought for his first time in the big show.

It seems ridiculous doesn't it? Two grand?! Yeah the more experienced guys make some cheddar, but damn if you don't have to take your knocks to get there. I'm assuming that Zuffa pays expenses, because I don't think $2000 would cover your air-fare, hotel, and food expenses for a weekend in Vegas. At least not if plan on enjoying any of it while you're there.

I agree 100%. You would have to make it worth their while to be there. Considering the $$$$ that Zuffa makes off of PPV and other UFC related items. They can afford to bring these guys in and treat them right while they are there, even the under card guys. I just wonder what kind of payouts and expenses are paid by the other promotions like Pride and KOTC. There is a lot of money to be made in the business, they can spread it around a little bit too.

I cant see KOTC paying very much because for the most part those are up and comers. Pride pays huge compaired to the ufc and K-1 is by far the organization with the biggest payouts.
