hello everyone I have been observing budo seek for a while and this is my first post

1. Who studies yang style taiji quan ?

2. power in tai chi comes from
1."energy" with in the hand
2.proper alignment of the body well striking
please select one or both and explain your reasoning ?

3. in your class what do you spend the most time on
1.form
2.application
3.chi sao
4. uprooting
5 other (please define)

1.I've done a tiny bit(basics, short form, and pushhands)
2.I think proper alignment is most important no matter what your view on energy/qi. It's just common sense :) If you don't have everything lined up properly you're not going to be able to use your whole body to maximum effeciency. It's like trying to pick up something heavy by just bending over with locked legs and relying on arm strength vs. crouching down and lifting up with your whole body... both methods may be able to get the job done, but one is clearly much more efficient, easier, and better for your health :)
3.I'm training all by myself right now, so I'm mostly concentrating on form(standing practice, line drills, and a short form routine). I do some other conditioning like pushups, ab work, etc.
