We are looking for interested individuals to join us in a training experiment. As you know, martial arts training videos, DVDs, etc. have gone through much controversy over the years.
Many traditionalists say it is impossible to learn any art by video. Some modern, more progressive practitioners say that videos and DVDs are the modern "scrolls" of the arts, and that they are an invaluable training tool.
We would like to test this for ourselves.
We will be studying several martial arts video courses. All of which are taught by certified instructors in the arts they represent. Some of these courses offer legitimate ranking and certification in their respective arts. Others, simply teach techniques, etc.
Training in our group is FREE!! The only costs you would incurr are those set by each specific organization sponsoring these courses. This may include membership fees, testing fees, etc.
Requirements for joining are group are:
1) Must be 18 or older
2) Must be able to attend weekly training in Orlando, Florida.
3) Must be willing to complete each course.
4) Must be serious about and enjoy training.
