NAGA - Battle at the Beach

NAGA - Battle at the Beach, Who went? I got second place in my division, but the 2nd place didn't mean as much to me as just competing. I was scared shitless ! Afterwards.. best feeling in the entire world. I cannot wait to compete again!!

I went to the NAGA in VA last month, I lost 3 matches on points, didn't get thrown or submitted. I just got my guard passed and held down, reversed a couple guys out of my mount and defend the some subs and tried a couple of my own. I try to do some judo standing, but eventually subcumbed to jumping guard for some reason. Either way, glad I went and know what to work on.

I hear ya, I lost my last match on points. I had the guy in a rear naked choke when the bell rang, and I was really bummed that I didnt get the chance to finish it off. I figure it was great to have just competed, because the real win was just getting out on the mat and doing it.
