which adidas uniform to get?

hi

There is 2 uniforms i can get, adichamp or grandmaster. Grandmaster is just little more expensive than adichamp. But as i am a blue belt, is it still ok to get the grandmaster uniform? is adidas 'grandmaster' just a name or is the uniform only meant for grandmasters? From the pictures i dont see the diffference in the look of these two uniforms. But the grandmaster has this bion feature which prevents bacteria and odour, thats why i like it. And the quality is probably better

so what do u think?

Hi, please see your post about shoes regarding the name rule. You need to sign it every post.

BTW, didn't mention it there, but to me anyway, shoes are shoes. Personally, I prefer no shoes, just barefeet.

About the uniform, I wouldn't get the grandmaster uniform. Without seeing it, I can't tell you, but usually they have a difference in the collars or stripes in certain areas, etc.... Usually if it says "Grandmaster" that's who it's meant for, I believe. Anyone, please correct me if I'm wrong. :)

Also the adichamp comes in white v collar and black v collar. I like the black V collar better but is the black V collar for black belts only? or can i wear it as well.

It doesn't look like there is a notable difference and I know that colour belts can and do wear black collars. I don't see any other differences besides the collor like I've seen on other grandmaster uniforms. To be sure I would check with your instructor as the rules on this may vary from school to school. Another point that may be worth looking into is if your instructor prefers you buy your uniform through him/her. :)

As I said above, the black collar can be worn by color belts, but it depends on the instructor. For example, in my school, it's worn by senior belts, blue belt and up. Best to check with your instructor.

ok thanks, i'll check with my instructor. I know in our club that red belts wear the black collar.
