Anyone hear about S. Korea's nuclear programs? Since the 1980s? Was just in the news.

Looks like another arms race.

Goodbye Korean peninsula. Thanks for all the fun.

I'd love to see the proof.

Erik,

What does this have to do with Korean culture, or martial art? I would suggest you take political rhetoric to a political board. It has no place here at Budoseek!.

Thanks,

Not rhetoric. I just read and heard several articles about both N. and S. Korea's nuclear programs and got a sick, sinking feeling in my stomach about it. That DMZ is a very, very tense place, and N. Korea has whole villages resorting to cannabalism as they have no food.

Do some research and you'll see what I'm talking about. I'm not trying to criticize.

Erik,

I have done research and one of my instructros was an interpreter on the DMZ. That being said, there is no evidence of a nuclear build-up on the Korean peninsula. Further, the DPRK does not have an economy that would support that development.

Now, this forum is for discussing Korean Martial Art. Not military or political science. If you had taken a turn to actually discuss that, then there would not be an issue. The current issue is that Budoseek! is not a forum desinged for the propogation of inaccurate political information. The idea is not to turn out more paranoia about things which no one has any way of determining... unless you happen to be a member of the JCS.
