Hi all!
What are your political views?

Please take this test, I would love to know where everyone stands (and you would too. It is very comprehensive).

Thanks!

I'm afraid you actually need to post a link for us to get to the test, Alex.

I'm in the Ghandi quadrant - which is fine by me!

Economic Left/Right: -3.00
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -3.23

Me and Ghandi, Nelson Mandela, and The Dalai Lama

OK!

(We did this on another forum I visit... something neat that they did there was to get the actual results from everyone who tests and someone compiles the results onto a single graph... anyone interested in seeing where you stand next to everyone else? If so post your results and Ill compile them and host the new image.)

you mean a moderate left-authoritarian?

LoL. My brother's name is John.
Actually my score was...
Economic Left/Right: 0.50
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -3.59

Closest to the Dalai Lama, but as I expected, in the middle of right and left and down towards the liberal side. ;) :bandit:
Although I thought some of the questions were contradictive.
I'm not much one for politics. I always thought politics were kinda childish. :)

Left/right: -6.62
Libertarian/authoritarian: -5.28

Same quadrant as Gandhi & other, bit more anarchistic.. why not?

To add Malificus comment about contradiction of question: also some question would need possibility to clarify position ("Yes, if it is meant to interpreted as...").

Scorp, where do you stand, then?

I think I ended up much further right because there were no questions about my core beliefs. Most of the questions were things I was iffy about or wished there was a none-of-the-above catagory for.

Economic Left/Right: 3.50
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -1.49

It puts me almost exactly between Friedman and Gandhi, if you drew a line between them. But I wouldn't say it's inaccurate. I am a libertarian politically. What's funny is that I'm not very far from Democrats, if you look on the political chart found under The Extreme Right/English Party Chart.

I also got only 10 out of 30 Iconochasms, and most of those by guessing. But I recognized the Mark Twain quote!

I guess I'll post my numbers like everyone else...

Economic Left/Right: -5.75
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -3.13

Benson

Left/right -2.38
Social 0.77

which suprises me. I thought I would be more libertarian and less authoratative.

Are we talking about IDEAL government or the one suited toward current world?

Social conservative
Authoritorian (until people can govern themselves)
Economically very to the left.

I think you know what party that is similiar to :) :)
