A year ago i broke my left collar bone and dislocated my left shoulder in a football (soccer) accident. I was playing on astroturf and got tripped from behind.

As well as that i tore some muscles and nerves in my left shoulder.
It has fully healed since then and i am still playing footbal and doing kickboxing but i am having problems with my left.

My left is very much weaker than my right hits with the fist and it never used to be like that. I managed to develop them both equally but since the injury it all went down the drain.

I just wanted to know ways of developing the strengh of my left shoulder/hand without developing my right too much. I don't know any one shouldered or handed exercises apart from one handed pressups and i can't do that on my left no matter what. This question has been very arkward to phrase as you can tell lol.

Any help would be appreciated :t2:

Well, I would suggest make an appointment with your Gp, see a doctor get advise on the shoulders problems.

I would say that don't do alot of movement in your left shoulders and don't do any kinds of weight training that may stress the shoulders.

With dumb bells you could do 1 hand military press, 1 hand bench....
For 1 handed push ups do them off the wall until you can do them off the floor.

I would worry too much on making both sides equal. Not only is it likely to not happen it may not be the best goal.
You dont see other professional artist training to get both sides equal
( baseball, football, boxing, tennis.... muscians...).
Both sides equal is a "Do" goal.
