For those of you that have websites for your schools fantastic.

Your website should include bare minimum:

Locations
Contact information
Prices
Background
Bio's
Testimonials (if any).

What many websites fail to do is optimize there sites. They should concentrate on the geographical locations as keywords. Use meta tags, meta descriptions and Alt tags on all graphics. These things will help the search engine results. Besides directly typing in a URL to find your website, 90% of all web traffic comes from search engines. If you use your keywords correctly you will rank high in the serach engine results. Your keywords should not be "Martial arts" or "karate" but rather "yourlocation Martial Arts", "your location Karate" etc.

If you don't rank, then you need to work on your website.

The other secret to High search engine results is linking to other sites. Your goal is to have more Incoming links than out going links.

Also submit your site to web directories. #1 dmoz.org.
