Hey Howard and Joe.
I'm about 40 minutes out of Waterbury. My website is at... http://lmaa.bravepages.com
If your student is ever in the area, they are welcome to sit in for some training.

Just as far, but Mike McCarty is about 45 minutes in South Windsor. He's a good guy and a good Hapkidoin. His website is at... http://www.hapkidojang.com/

There is a school in Seymour, CT. It's about 15 minutes out of Waterbury. I've never met them, but they teach Hapkido. Their website is... http://www.americanhapkido.net/

There is a lot more Taekwondo and Tang Soo Do than Hapkido in CT.

Hope this helps. :)

I am just chiming in to say that I know Chris and Mike McCarty and have been on the mat with both of them and they are two good guys and great Hapkidoists. Try the dojang locator: http://www.hapkidoforum.com/dojangmap/

Not that many gyms yet, but if everybody on this board adds his/her dojang it should be full in no time.
