Any recommendations for an Online or CDROM based Japanese Language Course?

You may want to look for a tutor in your area. Search google for Japanese tutors. Also search for Japan-America Clubs or Organization or Japanese organizations in your area.

I would highly recommend the Japanese pimsluer program. It won't help you to read or write japanese, but it will help with learning to speak it realitivly fast.

From all of my research the Pimsleur method is the best. They teach you just as you would if you were a child, all through talking, listening and memory. If you want to speak Japanese then this is the way to go. Many people suggest using Pimsleur to learn the basics of the language and then once you are fairly proficient then use a program like Rosetta Stone to help with the reading.

If you want to try Pimsleur DO NOT buy it from a regular bookstore, the price is steep at $345 for 30 lessons that are 30 minutes each. You can find it from several sites on the internet at far less.

I'm using Pimsleur and I really enjoy it. You should understand each lesson to about the 80% level before going on to the next lesson. No more than one lesson per day.

I agree. I've had a large difficulty learning languages my entire life through the "standard" school-type way. I find the Pimsleur to be by far the best method I've seen. I plan to finish all the Japanese offered then learn how to read/write in some other type of course or book after I have some proficiency in speaking.
