Greeting,
Who knows what this system is about, is it easy to learn, effective training method, etc?

I'm working with it and find it to be outstanding. It revolves around concepts of knife use rather than set patterns of "he attacks like this and you defend like that". For example, Bram points out that there are only two primary ways to hold a knife (forward grip and reverse grip) and two hands to put them in. Same with your opponent. That means there are 16 possible combinations so we do the same drills in every one of the combinations.
Bram is one of Remy Presas' long time students and was the only one Presas taught the full spectrum of the underlying blade work of Modern Arnis to (largely because he pestered the heck out of Presas to do so). Bram just got back from the PI where he was recognized by Roland Dantes and the other senior folks as a Senior Master of Modern Arnis and a superior blade man. He is also a very good teacher with a superb way of making the concepts understandable. His videos are always done slowly so you can see the motions and ideas he's presenting rather than showing off how fast he is.

Bram's Modular Knife System is great stuff. The focus is on simplicity and gross motor movement. It is a highly effective training method, and fits quite nicely into the train-the trainer type methods that the military uses.

It sounds like something I would like to get more info on.
Where's he from and is there a website I can look into? Does he hold seminars?
Thanks
