One of only two non-Brazilian Gracie Jiu-Jitsu black belts in the United States. Undefeated in Jiu-Jitsu and MMA competition.

I believe Stephen is being challenged on this claim by several people including Royce Gracie BB, Rob Kahn.

Kind of hard to get away with erroneous claims about BJJ rank and fight experience these days with the internet.

Wow this thing is spreading like wild fire. We talked about this last Thursday and Friday as Mr. Clark is in our backyard. He does not show up on BJJ.org or Sherdog.com. A couple of guys wrote him from the club and I don't believe we have heard back as of yet. As soon as I know - Ill post.

How did you two happen upon the info?

One of only two non-brazilian black belts in the USA?

I can name a few, none of whom are brazilian: Dave Camarillo, Cameron Earle, Misho Cenka.

What is this guy talking about?

There's a big thread on him at Bullshido.com. Felt it was my Christian duty to share him with my BJJ brothers on BudoSeek!

Thanks. I had forgotten that I saw it over there.

Whoa! I just clicked on the link I posted earlier and it's down. The link was to Clark's "Student Diaries" entry on the Tippie School of Management web site, where selected students were given the opportunity to tell prospective students a little about themselves. Some people on the Bullshido board had not only emailed Clark, but the school as well, so I'm wondering if the school has taken the "Student Diaries" off line.

The student diaries are still avaible, but Clark's cannot be found. Just click the link you posted then delete "clark" and hit enter. I could not get it to give me a directory of all of the diairies for the students enrolled in the MBA program.

I couldn't find anything on his MMA team or the shirts he was hocking "Team FullBlown". Any new good scoop coming in from the bullshido posts?

I guess his health problems that prevented him from making BJJ and MMA his full time occupation also impacted his ability to answer some of the questions people asked about his background. Hard to believe that twenty years ago he started BJJ in Kentucky at the age of 9.

WTF?

BJ Penn, Tim Cartmell, Matt Serra, several others...

Team "FullBLOWN?" Now THAT is a good one...

The Bullshido thread has kind of petered out, but it was deemed important enough to be moved to their "Bullshido Classics" section. There's also a thread going on mma.tv where people have emailed him and contacted his school. It would appear that since his "Student Diaries" entry has been removed from the business school web site, people are satisfied that this fraud has duly been exposed and busted. What an idiot!
