In Need Of Korean Fonts

does anyone know where i can find korean hangul fonts to download. (preferably a free download) I wanted to add some hangul to some handouts we use in class.

You can also get the global IME for Hangul from Microsoft. This is helpful if you use word. You will actually be able to type in Hangul in your MS Word, and it is free as well.

Frank, I tried the microsoft thing but i dont have office xp just office 2003. every thing i saw on ms website said that the korean update were for office xp only.

anyone else have any ideas?

with a little more research I found an online korean translator that I can copy from and paste in to a word document. If anyone is interested the site is http://www.appliedlanguage.com/free_translation.shtml

I hope you know how to use that page, as I tried to get some words translated and it came back all wrong. For example I selected "English to Korean" and then put in Tang Soo Do - It gave me강한 냄새Soo은 instead of 당수도. So I tried to do the opposite from Korean to English to see if it would do any better - So I placed 당수도 in the text translation and waited for the results and this is what I came up with: $$ln.

Does it work for you? I hope so, cause it didn't for me.

Because the word 'Tang Soo Do' isn't Korean (well, kind of).
Tang Soo Do is the way Koreans pronounce certain Chinese characters.

When you do an ordinary Windows XP you can get it to support Korean language, and even write it. You will get about 4 or 5 Korean fonts.

I have a Apple Macintosh and the guy at the Apple Center in YongSan gave me this great cd-rom loaded with free Korean fonts. (to bad for you they won't work on an ordinary pc)
