Hi, I have praticed karate before, and then stop I was wondering about the two styles what are the diffrences between them? And where did they actually come from?
For me it is the same .., but today there are different fractions of the original Kyokushinkai by Mas Oyama.

Kyokushin now has 3 organizations IKO1 IKO2 and IKO3 before the founder Mas Oyama died there was 1 IKO1 or just IKO when he died he appointed shokei Matsui his top student head of the organization IKO1 others senior students did'nt beleive this and got upset and split forming IKO2 IKO3 there where many legal battles I dont beleive it resulted in anything other then bitter feelings towards each other e.t.c.. its all Kyokushin though!
