This should be fun....

I am supposed to go for black belt in BJJ sometime around November. One of the main things I have to do is the entire self defense curriculum perfectly. I have seen Royce fail three guys strictly on the self defense. So I might blog on my training up until then. We are already making plans for extra training times.

LEO wise, I have almost completely stopped teaching at the Academy unless they are in a bind. I was just getting burned out. We are implementing the new State of Texas patrol rifle standards at my department and trying to get everyone trained up in-house. I am not involved directly in this because I haven't been to a rifle instructor course. I do get a brand new Colt 6920 AR-15M4 though. My personal rifle will be retired to the house for future zombie apocalypse.
