San Quan Dao Chinese Boxing, is a modern ecectic art, that was founded by the late Dr. Paul Olson in the 1960's. It was reportedly heavily influenced by the late Grandmaster of Pai Lum, Daniel K. Pai.

For at least a couple of decades, it's foremost practititoner and teacher, appears to have been a gentleman named Roger D'Onofrio, who ran a San Quan Dao school in San Francisco. In addition to his normal classes, Mr. D'Onofrio and an aikido man named Hans Goto, taught numerous seminars, applying the principles of San Quan Dao to aikido techniques, among other things.

Sometime in the late 1990's, Mr. D'Onofrio began to teach Krav Maga also, and indicated in an interview that I found on the Web, that Krav Maga began supplanting the San Quan Dao curriculum of his school, and sometime in the early 2000's, Mr D'Onforio moved to Las Vegas, and opened up a Krav Maga school there. He seems to have either retired from teaching, or perhaps has moved elsewhere.

If anyone here, ever trained in this style, I'd appreciate it, if you would weigh in, with your observations.

Apparently, I haven't been posting here long enough, to be able to link directly to the URL in my post, but if you do a web search for "San Quan Dao Chinese Boxing" it should take you to a link of an interview with Mr. D'Onofrio, talking about San Quan Dao, that from what I can gather, is probably at least fifteen years old.
