resource for charitable donations
The other thread on giving back and the martial arts made me think of this site.
I saw it on TV a few months ago and I use it to monitor all the charities I donate time or money to. Additionally, it helps one make good choices about which charities to donate to in the first place. Very easy to use and informative. It actually caused me to switch a couple of my resources to different charities after I realized that they were very inefficient in getting the money to the people who need it.
I personally feel better about making donations now!
Anyway, here is the site:

Very interesting site. (By giving back to the community, I did not mean in financial terms, though. I also meant in terms of service, or sharing an expertise in, knowledge of )"do good when you are able, and when you are unable, maintain goodwill" chinese proverb

Another very reputable referring site is Guidestar ...Most grant applications I have seen lataley ask if we are Guidestar listed, so I would guess they are the "Industry Standard"...We are listed there!!!
Feel free to switch resources our way anytime Jason...
