Good stuff, Brian. I like that you post here and offer some of your work. This way we can ask you questions...and stuff.
It's always nice to have "the source" available for things like that. I'm more prone to support fellow active member's before anyone else.

Thanks Tony,
Budoseek is definately a premier information
gathering forum on the internet! Good, intelligent people
who have a passion for what they do. Plus, the trolls
are not allowed to play here which means that
you really can get some good info.

Err... Shinto shrine would be the best way to put it. Temples are usually used in terms of Buddhism.

Hey Don,
I am trying to locate the info I had when visiting the shrine.
I will let you know when I find it. I was taken there by the
friends I travelled with as well as the Shihan who looked
out for us while in Japan. Thanks for your interest.

Don,
The Shinto Shrine we were taken to was located in Noda-Shi.
The Shrine is named Sakuragi Jinja. Not much on the web
regarding it but there is some. It is a very popular shrine to
go to for the Bujinkan members, Sensei, Shihan etc. that I
know. Soke has been there as well and is even in some
documentaries (Top Ten Martial Arts) at this Shrine. When I
am in Japan at the end of June, beginning of July I could
show you how to get there if you would like to go.
Hope that helps.
