What sorts of kung fu
Hello, I have a question for the people who know many things about the martial arts form: Kung fu!
Well, I want to ask if someone can tell me about the kung fu styles, because I just don't know what sort of kung fu I want to do. I was thinking of a kung fu, what is realy fast, en powerfull. Thats my favorite style of fighting.
So if anyone has some time to help me, just say it
I am searching myself, but if anyone has enoegh time, just add me to your MSN Messenger buddylist: thunderx@saiyanxstrike.net

Well, first of all, what's available around you?
Oh, as far as looking for a fast, powerful style...I don't know anybody who likes the slow, weak style of fighting.Dillon Beyer

Trying to describe kung fu would be easier than counting sand on a beach.
What are you after exactly? What's in your area, exactly? That kind of stuff will go a long way to assist you.Message: Due to the ongoing Recession, God has decided the light at the end of the tunnel will be shut off due to power costs. That is all.

Well, I live in the netherlands, I am dutch. So my country is very small. And every time I search for a kung fu style, I find the things I just can't do, so what I'm planning to do, is going to China or Japan, when I'm 18 or over. Then I'm going to train there, and have a lot of practice in kung fu, but I just don't know what sorts of kung fu are good for me! I'm a bit big, I have a problem with my body, I'm realy big, and not the slimmest one... But well, over to the point. I just want to do a kung fu style that's good for me. And maybe there are any others from the netherlands around here. I just search further

If anyone want's to help me, just send me an email
Or post on the forum
Grtz...

I have found my style. I like shaolin style
Thats what is good for me, I'm going to train so very hard... That if I'm 'round 18, I'm going to China, and end my training there, then I'm going back to Holland, and I am a Sensei then, that's what I want... And it will be that way
I hope then... But well, how long do I have to do Shaolin 'till I'm finished? Well, I'm not going to finish but, when I'm very good I mean
How long does it take to be a master?
I just can't wait 'till that time comes...
Bye...

Teacher, teacher, how long do i have to train to become a master?
At least 5 years.
Aw that long, but teacher, what if i train really hard and come to class everyday?
10 years then.
But what if I train harder than all the other students?
20 years then.
Martial arts is not a destination, but a journey, enjoy your travels, don't be in such a hurry to reach the end.

That sounds like though work man

And uuh
I don't care how long I have to train, the longer the better,
well, I think I train in martial arts all my life! 'Till I'm dead, and after my dead
So I'm realy motivated huh?
I don't care if I'm a master too! If I can fight thats all! I just want to know how to fight! And I have some feelings to get better every time I'm in a next level to say it realy overdriving :P

Good is a matter of perspective... don't worry about good or mastery or anything else. Just get on the train & ride. You'll figure out where you're at eventually & then you judge from there.

I don't even know what style's there are, I do research every day, but I still don't understand what style's there are and to think there is so many I have to learn of life and what is inside my astral body ( Yeah you think, that guy is nuts, than you are wrong :P I'm doing also paranormal research :P) So And if I remove the lock on my power, I could be strong, well I have to go...

it sounds like you would be interested in an internal art like Tai Chi Chuan, Ba Gua, or Hsing I, they concentrate a lot more on unlocking your internal potential, rather than building up your outer shell.

Well, for me it's a normal thing, you are someone who aren't realy bussy with it I see... Maybe you should take a look at ki sites, where you can find simple energy practices... Well, you are going a good way by using that techniques...

Let me put a rain cloud on all of this...
You need a teacher not...
a website
books
videos
& you need a long time with the teacher. Those other things may provided surface information but they will not & can not provide actual training. With guidance from a person, in person, it's just not going to work the way you envision.Message: Due to the ongoing Recession, God has decided the light at the end of the tunnel will be shut off due to power costs.
