Bas Highlights
Bas Rutten and my favorite montage!! Doesn't get much better...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XVY5ciakysIWhy the assumption that you can beat us without rules when you can't beat us with rules? Those rules happen to protect both of us, it would seem that most have forgotten that small yet significant point. What's keeping me from maiming you for life when I get position and you obviously can't get away? The rules, take those rules away and I'll curb you [sic] right after I knock/choke you out.

Good stuff. What's up with Bas always wearing matching fight shorts and shoes in the montage?

Those were Pancrase fights. You'll notice his opponents had the same type of color-coordinated outfits. It's something the sponsoring organization wanted, probably for visual appeal. What's up with Bas always wearing matching fight shorts and shoes in the montage?Tony Dismukes

That was pretty sweet. Love the Karate Kid song as the soundtrack. Bas had some seriously wicked body shots. Now I know why he talks about the liver shot with such affection.

He will be killed, all right, but he can't know whether he is killed because of the knowledge which he has got or because of the knowledge which he hasn't got and which if he had it, would save him."
