I haven't done any training for a few months. I upset my shoulder and had to take time off. Unfortunately, the shoulder hasn't settled (I am not sure what is wrong with it) so I am giving it a rest.
Master Kang was in the US early this year for a seminar. He is going to Australia in April for a series of seminars. Additionally, he was featured in 2 editions of the Australasian Taekwondo magazine. One was an article I wrote about Gongkwon and the other was a pictorial workshop.
I have been meaning to visit him but am tied down with work - someone has left so I am doing 2 jobs...of course, only being paid one salary.
Cheers.

Sorry to hear about your shoulder. Injuries suck, especially shoulder or back injuries. I hope you get better soon. Thanks for the update. I see the Gongkwon Yusul Web site has added videos now.

Hello All,
It is very interested style althought is not new to me the mixed korean martial art.
YOOSOOL (YUSL) is practice all over there world having HAPKIDO (usually) as foundation and adding other types of works typical in other styles as Muay Thai,BJJ, Greco, Fillipinos MMAA, etc...
Nevertheless, I believe GKYS is an appealing style. I do not agree GKYS is a Martial art itself but an style of YUSUL.
I like it
Good work
