These are probably ZNIR/Seitokai guys. I say that based largely on the fact that the first kata both guys do in the first video come from the ZNIR Toho set. I don't recognize them, but the video is a bit grainy and there are thousands of ZNIR/Seitokai folks in Japan. If I'm not mistaken, the second group is considerably more advanced than the first group.

They definitely do look like they are doing Seitokai MJER. i can't say I know either group demonstrating although the practitioner on the far right in the second video looks familiar to me. It has been too many years since I lived in Naogoya though so I am sure the current MJER crowd there is populated with a lot of folks I have never met.
Anyways, thanks for posting the videos Russ!

Hey guys,
I posted this on E-Budo, but I'll post it here too.
From what I can tell, the group in question is the "Shinkage-ryu iai" group. If you do some searching at E-Budo and around the net you can find more info about them.

Eh??? You sure? Russ has them listed as an MJER group, and they do look like MJER, albeit somewhat different than I'm used too.
You sure we're talking about the same video?Charles Mahan

This is the video we've been talking about.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v6kV...%20Eishin%20Ryu
It's an Eishin Ryu group, different from the two you posted initially, but according to YouTube also posted by you.
This is the group I asked you about way up in the thread, and the one I asked Irey-sensei about.Charles Mahan

Whoa whoa, sorry guys. Didn't mean to confuse y'all. My bad.
I was talking about the difference between the "Seigo-ryu" groups in question:
Group 1 seems to be an exponent of the Owari Yagyu Shinkage-ryu, demonstrating the Yagyu Seigo-ryu of the Yagyukai.

Hope that helps / is accurate.

Yeah that seems about right....I think. I can't remember exactly. They may both be splinter groups.
