    Unhappy Need sword help!!

    hey everyone,

so i was being careless and i got salt water on my katana (don't ask me how it was a stupid accident), and though i immediately tried to clean it off, it stained my blade. i was wondering if any of you know how to get these stains off or if it is even possible! thanks a bunch for your help.

Try some Noxon metal polish or Flitz, provided it isn't an antique blade. Use it very gently while paying close attention just until the spot is gone. Clean it all off prior to applying choji. I hope that the stain did not get on the hamon..I'd be a bit leery of using metal polish there.

If it still has not come off. Use some Metal-Glo, but use it carefully.

Most Metal Polishes from auto stores work well. Just be careful polishing.
