Other?
Can you guys recommend any other MA forums in addition to this one that are positive and active? Seems like there is a lot of anger on a lot of the others...

Well we're definitely active but perhaps not all that positive...remember, most of us are Americans and things aren't going as well as they could be for us. There are tons of other Forums out there try doing searches on Martial Arts Forums or Forums related to the arts in which you're interested in. There are lots of Aikido/MMA/Tae Kwon Do forums out there.

E-Budo.com, but as far as i know there are only topics regarding japanese martial arts and things related to japan. Also I know fightingarts.com, but I don't know whether it is a good forum.

Well, from some preliminary research:
sherdog seemed 'clubby'
E-budo seemed a little self-important
bullshido seemed very angry (mostly tongue in cheek though)
kungfumagazine seemed ok
Dragonslist looked good
deluxemaforum also looked good
I guess Dragonslist seemed the best out of the ones I looked at (other than HERE of course!!!)Robert Enweef

I think every forum has it's strengths, and shortcomings. Each forum 'finds its level', depending on the contributions of its' members, and has an ebb and flow. Personally, I think that one should 'find a home', one forum that appeals for a particular reason, and make a point of contributing in a positive way in order to build up that particular forum.
Oh...and beware biased opinions. Mine included.

My two other favorites are:
Worldwidegrappling.com
Judoforum.com
I find E-budo to be full of budowankers and guys that play too much Dungeons and Dragons...

I think that is a little harsh. I find that E-Budo is an excellent forum, but it does appeal to a specific segment of the martial arts community. If it's not your ball of wax, then that is OK too.

Just wondering what a budowanker is. Actually there are quite a few people that are members of this board too.

Narda Wakoluk's comment says it all:

As to this day I am still amazed by the amount of characters that pervades each forum on the daily basis.

I like this forum; the other forums I've been on are boring and inactive.
Life without effort is a waste of time and air.
