Comfort Zone
Do any of you have any particular techniques, or particular philosphies that you are comfortable with, that just seem to come natural for you?
For me I don't know how it happened, but Okuri Gote with a yubi dori pin came natural for me in my Juho randori. I can't explain it, I just did it with a flow that was indescribable, that's what is so fascinating to me about Juho. Please share.Heather McLaughlin

I love ryukaken juho, it just seems to make so much sense and is fun to do.

There are some techniques that I can perform on one day without problems and on the other day I feel absolutely unconfortable with.

My wife and I haven't trained for many years - around 18 or 19 years actually.
I had a few favourites, but hers is definitely johaku dori, which was one of the techniques that she had just started when she quit. She will occasionally beg me to grab her, just so she can have the satisfaction of watching me drop like a stone....
I'm only pleased she didn't take a shine to something involving nage!
Philosophy also lasts a lot longer than you might think. I have a few favourites there too.

Rei, naore. Time to begin.
