This is happening a lot all over the UK. The ones that I've seen are churches that are no longer being used, but I'm sure there are others.

People really need to start paying attention...although I sincerely doubt that Scotland would stand for honor killings and the like that are popping up elsewhere, especially in Europe.

Nae bothered. Most churches were built on Pagan worship sites here in the first place....

Infact many disused churches end up as houses, one near us was a tattie shed for years until it was converted into a house.

Nothing wrong with recycling a building. Glasgow has a big muslim community....even the local MP was ane. Many of them born and raised Scots, its not the general population that are the problem its the extremists that are....and that goes for any religion, cult, organisation etc.

I know the Scots to be a proud people, my stepfather was from a small town about 100 miles from Glasgow.Still remember his rants about the 'Celtic's' football club ( we call it soccer ye know).

I grew up in the province of Quebec, where there remains a great number of Scottish and Irish descendants. Too bad there's no sound to this web site, I'd love to hear your accent!

The Ol' man has passed now, but I knew him to be nationalist, not too fond of 'outsiders' if you know what I mean...
