Beckhams in LA
Anyone following this? Anyone find it amusing? I wonder if they will make it big here, too, or if he will discover that soccer is a game for kids in this country.
Still, soccer becoming important in the US could really help us with our obesity problems. Could be a good thing for the country.
As for her, I never thought I'd find a woman hot who looks like 1/2 plastic and 1/2 cancer patient, but I do, somehow.
I wonder how long it will be for them to pork up, eating all that American food...
I realize you think you understand what you thought I said, but what I am not so sure about is whether what you think you heard is what I think I meant.

hehe...it's interesting. I've been a Beckham fan for a long time. I still don't know what to make of her, but so far she's impressed me with curbing people that are rediculous (Paris Hilton for example).

As a die-hard Celtic fan, I was floored on Thursday night when the MLS All Stars beat us 2-nil. That's an incredible feat in itself. Then the Chicago Fire tied Celtic yesterday. Unreal. That shows that a lot of work has gone into MLS and it continues to get better and better.
Oddly, on Sports Center, they felt it necessary to explain that the Beckhams had eaten at In n' Out Burger three times in the past two days.
Pork up!

Erik ---- I was picking up dinner at a local restaurant and a Galaxy game was on in the bar. Just like Laker games, they spent time cutting to shots of TV stars in the stands. We'll see. Since the Beckhams were very minor celebrities in the U.S. to start with (the media's done a great job of turning them into A-listers du jour -- hence your fascination i think
), I think that in the end, a game that, in the minds of Americans, offers very little scoring and seems to just arbitrarily end on a few tweets of a whistle (no build up to a finale, no last-second Hail Mary), will always be second or third fiddle here (poker's leap-frogged soccer in the U.S. in the minds of ESPN for goodness sake -- the turn and river generate more excitement than trying to figure out how much injury time's remaining
).

Another thing I'd like to add is that American camera-persons need to learn how to shoot a match. I lost my mind a couple times Thursday watching the MLS All Stars vs Celtic. They would take up the entire screen of a replay while the match was still going. Wait for downtime you idiots!

I'm with Erik. There's plenty of women that go through drastic changes based on what they *think* guys would want, not what they actually do..

The majority of the time I believe yes. They see themselves as too fat, although others may not.

I also think that a lot of men would like to have a women who has the physical attributes of a "normal" woman but many of the men wouldn`t confess that in public... Look to the "sexiest women alive" does she has an average ***?

I'd rather be with a woman that was built like a woman, not built like a 12 year old boy.
