Obama - Friend of the Palestinians
I'd be running from any endorsement from the Palestinians!

Apparently, Obama's support for the Palestinian cause goes back a ways. The LA Times are refusing to release a video of Senator Obama praising Palestinian activist Rashid Khalidi at a 2003 banquet. The whole event, also attended by unrepentant terrorist Williams Ayers featured lots of inappropriate language directed at Israel and Jews.

I don't have as much of a problem with that (assuming the article from LA Times is accurate in its interpretation) as I do his lying about financing and various other things. There is plenty of blame to go around in Gaza and Israel certainly should shoulder their fair share in my view.
As for Obama being at events where inflammatory statements were made, he is no more responsible for those statements than McCain is when some moron yells a racial epitaph from the crowd at one of his rallies or two skinhead idiots plot to kill African Americans on a killing spree of hate. Unless the audio or video is released showing that he supported such statements or made them himself, I don't see this as a big deal. For now, more than ever before, being sincere and dedicated is not enough. We must also be right. - Walter Kroll. 1971
