    Default My new toy.

I have had a Springfield XD .40 Subcompact for some time now and am very pleased with its functionality. I found out that a friend of mine was wanting to sell his XD 4" Service Model. I made him an offer that I thought he would find too low but he was happy to take it. I paid him $400 for the pistol, two 12 round magazines, and a 250 round box of UMC .40 ammunition that he fired 7 rounds out of. I didn't really need it but I just couldn't stand to think that it would fall into the hands of someone that wouldn't appreciate it as much as me.

WOW! What a deal. Nice gun Dennis. Let me know if your friend the sucker is wanting to part with anything else that nice for such a great price.

That is a great price, and a tragedy was averted. Great day for all...
