    Default On the road again

    As most of you know Hapkido is my passion and Electrical is how I earn my living ,with the economy the way it is there are very few large projects happening anywhere in the country. and having recently being laid off ,the out look for Boston could be two years out of work .

    I was approached last week about a project that needs good Electricians because of all of the Bad publicity, And the fact I would be doing something honorable .

    When a solider takes a shower he does not expect to die from electrocution ,it shows me something has to be done, It is unacceptable so off to Iraq I go, I should be there a year or so working seven days a week twelve hours a day .with 10 days RR every four months .

    What I need to know ,Does anyone know of Any Hapkidoin in country ? That may with time permitting want to work out ?

    This will be the toughest Electrical road trip I have done

    I don't know of any Hapkidoin but I just wanted to wish you the best. It is very honorable of you to put yourself in that position.

    I am not sure yet But i will know by the 23 of the month have a bunch of classes etc in Houston . then it will be decided

    i have been asked to run a crew of Electricians ,somewhere ?

    I will have my Dobok with me, I always bring it

    Depending on where they send you will dictate. Majority at bases seems to be more MMA style do the combatives that most services are teaching these days. Let us know what base your going to bc there is always other ma'tist their but there may not be a club per se.

    Hal, all I can say is take care and don't get your butt blown off!....
    Seriously though, find a bunch of jar heads and get the real low down on what's what when you get there. All the best and come home safe. Hopefully this time next year we can all meet in Jackson and have a beer and be thrown around.
