Pants
Can anyone suggest a good martial art pant? I'm looking for durability and generality. Not a stylized karate/tkd pant or so heavy like Ju-Jitsu. Any ideas?

I was looking through this section due to my own searching and realize no one has replied to you yet so here goes.
I am not certain of the weight of a jiu jitsu ghi pants, although I was under the impression that they were the same as judo pants. I used to wear judo pants and did not find them that heavy (although the tops certainly were).
I have found the Century pants (and tops for that matter) to be quite durable. These are the only ones that I can recommend as they are, quite frankly, the only ones I have worn aside from my judo uniform. I have been studying my system for the last 20 years now (has it been that long?
) and have only had to replace them once. In reality I would not have needed to replace them except I was a teenager when I started and as a result outgrew them. Also, I wanted to upgrade from the middle weight ghi (8 oz) to the heavy weight ghi (12 oz) since I found that when I was sweating during my work out my pant legs stuck more to my legs and would constantly have to make adjustments. Once I purchased my heavy weight ghi the pants would slide off of my leg regardless of how much I had been sweating. I am not sure if the heavyweight is too heavy for you but if it is you could go for their middle weight which comes in 8 oz and 10 oz. I wear the "contact pants" with the elastic waist but that is more a preference on my part.
Hope this may help you out.

I like the Toraki Gold Judogi. The material is thicker and heavier than the Swain or Century judogi pants.
