    Default Hand Conditioning

What ointments, creams, gels etc. does everyone use to help with hand conditioning? I am looking for something to toughen the skin to avoid blisters.
    Thanks in advance.

Old anecdotal stories talk about Dit Dat Jow, Fig Juice and some others. However, I'm pretty against any type of conditioning that involves striking surfaces harder then bone.

Should be other threads on this topic.

As I mentioned on one of your other post if it is not Korean Arts specific you would likely get alot more responses for the question if you posted it elsewhere.

    Dit Da Jow for linament
    Pushups for knuckles specifically
Sand Bag for hand & fingers
Post for hand, arms & legs
    Qigong to warm up

Let me add to this by saying... the skin on my hands isn't hard & I don't get blisters. If the training regimen is correct, then your hands will never show or display any adverse discoloration or other after effects.

Have your buddies pee on your hands every time you get a blister. After that, your tolerance for blisters rises considerably.
