Bottom line? I am really excited about this and I hope that it keeps going this time.
    Hey Jason,

I think you will enjoy both as long as you have the time learn as much as you can! I think integrating with open minded instructors is pretty easy so you should have no problem at all. Better than that you may be able to show either instructor a new take on what they do and they may think the world of that! I know I always do!

With few exceptions I've found that the different flavors of FMA and their practitioners are very complementary. I have trained with stick guys, blade guys, traditionalists and modern tactical guys and learned good stuff from all of them. I've also found that they fully grasped the other points of view and understood where the differences lay and how they originated. Most of the posturing and puffing were from young pups with ego issues. The old timers like Dan Anderson, Bram Frank, Shishir Inocalla, Ray Dionaldo, Fred Lazo, Raffy Pambuan, Bob Quinn, Rene Tongson, Dieter Knuttel and Bruce Chiu that I have had the privilege of training with have unanimously been gracious and eager to see what everyone else offers. FMA truly feels like a family.

Thanks Robert. I will definitely do so. Its not like I have not been enjoying my Kali training but I did miss the vibe we have in our Arnis group. If I were to leave my Kali training now, I would certainly miss that too. Good stuff all around.
