Default Know anything about this polymer espada y daga training set? Anyone? Bueller?

    http://www.bloodnbonesgear.com/id35.html

I am in the market for an espada y daga training set and came across this. Do you have any experience with these? I am worried that the weight and balance will be off with the polymer versus metal structure. I am also worried about any potential flexion side to side.

I e-mailed the company for a response but since I figured I would post here as well.

Any one else who has used these products is welcome to reply and in fact, I really hope you do.

They certainly seem thick enough to not flex from side to side. I wonder what kind of high density polymer:

    - "Will with stand High impact and multiple Hits."
    - "is built to last, made to be abused."

    But

    "- will not chip teeth!!!"

I was wondering about that as well... About the flexion. I'm not overly concerned about it but I have seen supposed "rigid" polymers that still flex. Sword steel flexes as well so as long as it is not more than that I don't see a problem. Don't know unless you ask I guess.

Those are quite rigid. They're similar to what John at TakKnife makes. I don't like them because of the flat handles. Simon at EKA has a nice set in Kamagong at a reasonable price.

Thanks Barry. I'm looking at some aluminum ones as well. I appreciate the input.
