Well the website doesn't say much about him that I saw so I have no idea. I'm also not a Wing Chun practitioner so unless he's relatively well known in the CMA community or one of the few WC people I know, I don't have much to offer. Best suggestion would be to ask around in the Wing Chun community about them on a board or two where there are dedicated Wing Chun forums.

Are you speaking of the late Eddie Ma, the Kung Fu Theatre director?

As to Robert Lee Mcfield's web site, his bio (McField's) on his site doesn't seem to even reference an instructor. There is no reason I can see not to believe he's legit, just kinda funny that mention of his lineage appears (at least I couldn't find any) to be absent from his site.
