Master Min Ho Cho/Tong Long Chen
Hi all
I am on a quest to find this man -- Master Min Ho Cho who to Mu Do Kwan and Tong Long Chen out of the Richmond/Arlington area. My teacher learned a lot from him, but my teacher is currently in foreign parts.
I know that he taught Master Sharon Elder-Hauger in 1985; has anyone else trained with this man?

Drinking coffee and slacking, a couple minutes of internet brings up a Min-ho Cho in Blacksburg, VA. Dunno if that is him, but nothing else on him comes up in any of the standard searches. He drops off the map for Moo Do Kwan in the mid 1980's.
If you want to find him, dig deeper in county and municipal records for Fredericksburg and Blackburg Virginia areas and you may find him. Good luck.Neil Yamamoto

Cho's Laundry
I remember my teacher saying that Master Cho also ran a laundry business as well in Virginia. Oddly enough, so does the family of the Virginia tech shooter whose name is also Cho. I take it that Cho is common surname in Korea?

Very common, just like my last name, yamamoto, is very common in Japan. Digging up someone with a common last name, jones, smith, or cho, etc. can be difficult at times.
Try researching business licenses since those seem to be better maintained in records by states. Gee, wonder if collecting taxes has anything to do with that?Neil Yamamoto

Style
BTW, I recently found out that our style name is not Tong Long Chen, but Tong Long Chien. I don't know if that narrows it down or not.

Grandfather Master
I recently visited one of my fellow students, who was above me; he also mentioned that the Grandfather Master of the style was often called "The Poisonous Snake" and he had something to do with the creation of Mu Duk Kwan. I have seen several articles on the creation of Mu Duk Kwan, but I saw no one that fit that description.
