question on waistband
newbie question here;
do the traditional waistbands on karate pants have a string that actually runs thru
the waistband or does the string just run thru what appear to be belt hoops?
thanks!

Both. They run through the waistband then come out through the sides. Then you feed them through the loops and tie it in front.
