    Default Any body in Rio?

Any one here in Rio or spent any time here. I'm currently working down here and am thinking about trying to take in a few BJJ classes. I have very little experience with BJJ and my Portuguese is not too good. So if anybody has trained down here and has any advise/personal experience they could share I would appreciate it.

    Thanks

If you are able to go and train with Rolker Gracie or Royler Gracie. I personally spent a few privates and semi privates with Rolker when he was in the states and enjoyed every minute.

Joe, I would suggest you find Gracie Barra in Rio. The Rio location is pretty big and it is my understanding full of many English speaking students and instructors. I know many Americans that have trained over there and said language is not a probelm at Gracie Barra.

Brian, Royler has moved to California and is now teaching in, I believe, the San Diego area. Glad to have him in the states...just wish he would come to the east coast for some seminars.

    Hey Charles,

Royler goes back pretty regularly but I would still recommend going their to train with Rolker. He is a great teacher!
