Custom Combat Canes
If anyone is interested in combat canes but does not want to spend hundreds of dollars to purchase one. I recently worked out an agreement with a gentleman who builds custom combat canes. If you are interested check out the Korean American Martial Arts site. We have a Custom canes page that lists options and some of the canes currently for sale. I can vouch for the quality as I have already purchased one and have a second on the way.
Each cane is hand shaped and I can tell you they are barely above the cost of materials. I am unable to post links at this time as I just joined this community. You can do a yahoo search for Korean American Martial Arts and it is the first site listed.

So, your first post here is an advertisement? Why we do not allow new members to post links.

Well my apologies, if I have broken some sort of guideline. However this section is for posting regarding equipment is it not? I also posted a hello to everyone. My post is intended purely as a resource. I do not make anything off any of the canes that are crafted, and only meant to make people aware of a much less expensive alternative to some of the big sites.

No apologies needed. No rules per se broken, Just trying to keep people from spamming our site. Usually when the first post comes across as trying to sell something our "spidey senses" act up. I'm glad they were wrong. Welcome aboard.

Although your prices are OK, I was disappointed to see that your stuff looks like a knock-off of Mark Shuey's early designs.
I own at least 50 different canes including prototypes from some of the best cane makers/designers in the country. I can tell you from painful experience that the forked tip crook may look cool but is a real detriment to someone using the cane. Also, the glued on crystals are a waste of time and money for a cane that will actually be used. At the price point you've chosen I think you would be better served focusing on function instead of gimmicks. A good hardwood cane that can be used as a mobility aid and self defense tool without KillMaster 3000 features that will end up as People's Exhibit A would be a definite service to the marketplace.Barry McConnell

Again I do not make the canes or sell them personally. I however do have one of them and while they may not be canemasters canes they are still quality items. Also not all of the canes have serrated edges or eyes, that is merely an option. They are simply hand shaped canes for those that are interested in a custom cane that does not break the bank. I do not personally use a cane with a forked crook, I prefer a simple rounded point or standard horn. Thanks for your reply.

One of the best canes I have was made by some Amish people at the behest of Ed Martin. Excellent hickory and craftsmanship. Cost? $15!!!! Yes and yes it is better than all of the custom canes out there. In my opinion do not waste your money on extremely high priced canes. There are other alternatives out there!
