    Default Older Palgwe forms

My instructor teaches older palgwe forms. Not the stuff you find in all the books and all over the web, not the forms I learned for the last 15 years in Tae Kwon Do. Does anyone have older versions of the palgwe forms and black belt forms?

Kim Soo (KIM Pyung-soo) wrote the first book out on Palgwe 1-2-3 & Palgwe 4-5-6 (much more rare). Since they were replaced by the more current Taegeuk poomsae (in '72) and went from bing the primary, then supplemental/optional and finally being phased out completely by Kukki-TKD few schools do them anymore. The yudanja forms didn't change (except for Koryo) when the new set was developed. There is plenty of references in the black belt (yudanja) forms. You can even get the most current videos from the Kukkiwon on line at their site.

I take wtf Taekwondo. Our school focuses on the taeguk forms but we also learn the palguay forms later on as a secondary source of study material.
