Very nice. The clip is also on YouTube and from there, you will find quite a collection of similar videos.

How'd he do that? That was really cool.
I realize you think you understand what you thought I said, but what I am not so sure about is whether what you think you heard is what I think I meant.

Whoa, cool! I can just imagine the speed rate of that needle for it to create a neat hole.
Impressive!

Very, very cool. I have seen bb's and pellets go through glass leaving similar holes. Embarassingly, with all of the "knowledge" I think I have about firearms, I have NO idea the velocity of a standard bb from a "standard" bb gun. But...if we knew the weight of the bb, it's velocity, and the thickness of the pane of glass...Then if we knew the weight of the needle thrown, and again the thickness of that glass, we (at least somebody WAY better at math than I) might be able to calculate the velocity of this needle. I would like to know. As I said, this is cool!

Air rifles average between 350 f.p.s. for a Daisy Red Ryder style BB gun and up to 1200 f.p.s. for the new commercially available pellet guns you can buy at your local sporting goods store or Wal-Mart. Professional level air rifles - particularly pneumatic ones - can reach even higher speeds. The average BB or pellet gun of the 1970's had a speed of 350 - 650 f.p.s..

Ahh yes the Shaolin monks. The monks are strong believers in chi. I have actually witnessed a shaolin monk throw a needle threw glass before. It is very interesting but was told it took years of conditioning and practice before they are able to do it. The shaolin monks possess great feats of strength and endurance.
