Wing Chun in New Orleans/Slidell areas?????

Hi I am looking for a Wing Chun School in Louisiana, or a great Kung Fu school> cn anybody help me find one?

I moved here nine months ago and was looking for the same thing.

http://neworleanswingchun.com/ - This is run by a man who moved here from Texas. He is not an instructor but has permission to start an informal group from his Sifu. He told me he had been studying for a year when I moved here nine months ago.

Wing Chun United: (504) 810-5671 - They don't have a web site and I didn't find them in my search when I first moved here.

http://www.shaolin-world.net/ - These guys used to advertise Wing Chung and many others when I first moved here. Their web site has changed a lot and they no longer claim to teach eight or so arts.

http://nolashaolin.com/ - This is a Shaolin-Do school, they do something kinda like Kung Fu. They are not a Traditional Chinese Martial Art.

http://www.neworleanskungfu.com/ These guys just reopened (closed after Katrina) when I moved down here. They teach Ling Chuan Kung Fu, Tai Chi, and Ba Gua.

http://www.laughingsage.com/ - This is a brand new school, they teach a Northern Shaolin/Praying Mantis Kung-Fu System. I did not research this school when I moved here.

I have read about him, I had no idea he was in the New Orleans Area.

I am obviously biased towards the White Crane Studio. It was the only Kung Fu school to make my list of schools I would consider attending. I did a lot of research and was not quite comfortable with what I cam up with for the other Kung Fu schools.

I did not find any Kung Fu schools in Slidell when I did my research, everything was in New Orleans.

What??? The whole state isn't considered NOLA? hehehehe

Yeah I believe he is or at least near it. If I remember correctly, he teaches at or near some university down there.

As far as I can tell, there is New Orleans and then the rest of the state...where they film the show swamp people.

There is a wing chun class near Slidell. Its in Picayune ms - approx. 15min away. The instructor is from Slidell and lived in Picayune. He lives in Jackson now, but, 1-2 times a month he comes to Picayune to train a small group for 4-6 hours each session. The catch is that you have to agree to meet with your classmates to work out and work on the material.
