    Default Left handed swordsman

This has been brought up before...many times....but this is an example of how the sword hands DO change in some schools. This is Yagyu Shingan Ryu, the Sendai line.

There seems to be few things which are universal. There is a kata where a participant throws his sword at his opponent. It is difficult to say "such and such never happens". Always exceptions within a given context or ryu. Doesn't make it the norm though. The debate usually happens when somebody left-handed wants to do their kata left-handed, not a specific kata within a specific tradition.
