Suggestions for a router?
I think my router is crapping itself. My connection speed is horrendous. Anybody have a suggestion for a good wireless router at a reasonable price?

I've had a fair amount of experience with routers, and honestly, most are pretty darn good these days. I used to be a Linksys fan, but recently switched to Netgear. The model I have is the N600 Dual Band Wireless-N Router with Gigabit and USB. It has excellent range, it is able to transmit two separate signals, one at 2.4 GHz and another at 5 GHz. That means that if you have other devices operating at 2.4, like telephones, you'll get less interference. It is also better for streaming video, and I use it for my Apple TV. Seriously great router with excellent security and it is easy to set up.

I've also been through several and I'm currently utilizing a Netgear router as well. So far so good. I'm happy with it. As Robert stated it has good range. I can get on-line from anywhere in the house and the deck too.
I think they are all comparatively priced so going with a cheaper one may hurt you in the long run."I don't lift, too heavy. I don't run, too far. I just hit people.

Thanks, gentlemen. It seems to be working good so far today, so perhaps the problem is with my service. If it turns out the router is at fault I will definately go with the N600 suggested.
