Grip strength
The Art of Manliness just put out a decent article on grip strength, I thought it was relevant:

I own and can close the 2.5 from Ironmind. I own the #3 but I cannot close it all the way. I need to get back into the habit of practicing them.

Ironic that you posted this article. I work my grip with a gripp ball, although not a consistent as I should.
I also found kobudo practice works my grip as well and I'm sitting here with sore forearms because I practiced kobudo last night after a break of a few months.
Great article, btw."I don't lift, too heavy. I don't run, too far. I just hit people.

Cool site.
Anyone else do finger tip pushups? Been doing these since Wrestling and Basketball in high school. I also use Kettlebells regularly as well.

I've been having luck with the towel method, I have been doing that off and on every few weeks. I also smack a large wooden post with a tree branch until I am almost unable to hold onto it anymore. It hurts for a while afterwards, but it does improve my grip. The thing about grips is there are a few types....what is used in most Jujutsu and Judo schools is usually something akin to what is called "gyakute" or "reverse hand". This is when the thumb meets the index finger when closing the hand, or rests over the index and middle finger. This is opposed to "honte" which leaves the index finger loose and the thumb closes onto the middle finger or over the middle and ring finger. Anyway, what I am saying is that I believe there are advantages to having a good grip both ways, especially if one is doing weapons (this seems to hold true with firearms, as the trigger finger is usually loose and the grip is at the middle finder, and in honte).

Nigiri game? what's that? You ordered all 3? I just got the max resistance, I ended up with 2, one of which I was going to mail to you.

Yes, I got all three. As I didn't know the resistant levels I figured I'd start from the bottom.
